‘What Is Architecture?’, Walter Gropius 1919 — During the 19th and 20th centuries, print was the best way to spread these manifestos through the use of mediums that could be reproduced in large numbers. Even now, print is still a valuable format for getting word out into the world. A piece of print communicating this manifesto also exploring the possibilities and responsibilities of the designer. This 125 paged ‘tear & share’ format is easily distributed to the masses.
